Steven Barth	17c90e94cf	Add sch_fq and sch_pie to the kmod-sched package. These are two new packet schedulers introduced in Linux 3.12 and 3.14 respectively. sch_fq is a perfect fairness queueing scheduler that also adds pacing on host TCP flows, and sch_pie is an AQM. The problem is we try to create STA interface just to let hostapd change it to AP later. It may fail if device doesn't support STA interfaces or if we already hit a limit. Steven Barth	336fc7a702	netsupport: l2tp-ip: only depend on IPv6 if IPv6 support is enabled Before r45593 kmod-l2tp-ip did not depend on kmod-ipv6. With r45593 support for L2TP IPv6 encapsulation was added and included in the kmod-l2tp-ip package. This change also added the dependency to kmod-ipv6 to kmod-l2tp-ip, regardless of whether the user chose to generally include IPv6 support or not. Change this so L2TP over IPv6 and the resulting dependency to kmod-ipv6 is only included in kmod-l2tp-ip if IPv6 support is enabled. Felix Fietkau	daaed6f251	netifd: fix start_disabled 'sh: bad number' in mac80211 setup (bug #19345 ) Two errors "netifd: radio0: sh: bad number" have recently surfaced in system log in trunk when wifi interfaces come up. I tracked the errors to checking numerical values of some config options without ensuring that the option has any value. The errors I see have apparently been introduced by r45051 (ieee80211r in hostapd) and r45326 (start_disabled in mac80211). Rafał Miłecki	e4c35bd9fb	mac80211: make b43 N-PHY default for brcm47xx legacy subtarget Subtarget legacy is supposed to support all ssb SoC except for BCM4705. There are few BCM4703 devices with 802.11n supprt (WRT160N v1.0, v1.1). Few BCM4704 devices with 802.11n: ASUS WL-500W, Linksys WRT150N v1.0 & v1.1, Linksys WRT300N v1.0, Netgear WNDR3300 v1, WNR834B v1 & v2. It seems we have to enable N-PHY for legacy as well to support above. Unfortunately it increases root.squashfs size by 48 460 B. Felix Fietkau	3cc4fd7370	ath: relax regulatory rules for default regd code Most AP devices out there do not have a properly programmed regulatory domain code, which means they are limited to US frequencies by default. This has been a major annoyance for a long time now. Since no fix for the manfuacturing process seems to be forthcoming, the only sane option seems to be to allow users to change the country code in such cases. John Crispin	a0cc6803c8	mac80211: Revert adding SM Power Save capability to hostapd configuration Part of rev 44173 added setting the SM Power Save capability in the hostapd.conf file if the driver indicated that it was supported. It appears this was incorrect, because the field in the actual HT Capabilities field in the AP configuration is really a state indication. Just copying the state from the capability resulted in the AP indicating that it had SMPS enabled all the time if it supported SMPS. This effectively just disables all clients from sending packets to the AP with more than one spatial stream, for no good reason. So remove this part of the change. Felix Fietkau	c9b99da7a5	ath: Add config option for DFS support This patch adds a config option to enable DFS in ath9k and ath10k drivers (with ath10k you need the AP-branch firmware). I'm not entirely sure about the regulatory compliance issues, though. As far as I understand, enabling the DFS_CERTIFIED config options implies that the device is certified for DFS. No doubt the original firmware has obtained such a certification, but not with the open source drivers. I suppose that as long as this is disabled in default builds (like ATH_USER_REGD) everything should be fine, but it would be nice to have out-of-the-box OpenWrt support for DFS. I'm also not sure whether the description of the configuration option should say something about regulatory compliance. This patch tries to allocate 64 kiB chunks, and only falls back to larger allocations if the returned pointers are not correctly aligned. Fixes out-of-memory errors on Danube boards with 32 MiB RAM. This fixes bug #14135. Currently, wired networking isn't working on the router, and I haven't tried the wireless, but with this patch, OpenWRT successfully boots, and all the LEDs and buttons work properly. Hauke Mehrtens	9d4145efe5	kernel: fix DMA error when BCM4331 is connected to BCM4706 The BCM4331 supports a PCIe max request size of 512 bytes and uses that, but the PCIe controller in the BCM4706 just supports 128 Bytes and that causes a DMA error for packages bigger than 126 bytes. Hauke Mehrtens	0d9ecfa564	kernel: kmod-appletalk: fix dependencies When CONFIG_LLC gets build as a module, also p8022.ko and psnap.ko are getting build as a module. kmod-appletalk depends on llc.ko and psnap.ko, but at least psnap.ko,was not packed. On most systems CONFIG_LLC will be build into the kernel so this problem does not show up.
